1. About IQAC
The Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) of Navkis College of Engineering, Hassan, has been constituted as a central institutional mechanism to ensure conscious, consistent, and catalytic improvement in the overall academic and administrative performance of the college.
In accordance with the guidelines of the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC), IQAC functions as a facilitative and participative organ, working towards institutionalizing and internalizing a culture of quality enhancement and sustenance.
IQAC plays a pivotal role in strengthening institutional processes through structured internal audits, teaching–learning quality enhancement, digital governance and documentation, stakeholder engagement, and evidence-based continuous improvement aligned with NAAC, NBA, AICTE, VTU, and NEP 2020.

To foster a sustainable institutional culture of quality, excellence, innovation, and accountability, ensuring holistic academic advancement and continual institutional development.
3. Mission of IQAC
- To institutionalize quality assurance processes across all academic departments and administrative units
- To promote innovation and best practices in teaching–learning and governance
- To ensure systematic review, monitoring, and corrective actions through internal audits
- To strengthen digital governance, documentation, and transparency
- To support accreditation and compliance through structured evidence systems
4. Objectives of IQAC
IQAC is committed to:
- Developing and applying quality benchmarks for academic and administrative activities
- Facilitating a learner-centric environment and modern teaching methodologies
- Strengthening coordination among departments and stakeholders
- Disseminating best practices and outcomes for institutional improvement
- Supporting preparation and documentation for quality reports such as AQAR
5. Key Functions of IQAC
IQAC at NCEH focuses on:
- Academic and administrative quality benchmarking and process strengthening
- Internal audits, concurrent compliance reviews, and action-closure mechanisms
- Teaching–learning enhancement through structured class observations
- Faculty capacity building (FDPs/workshops) and best practice dissemination
- Digital documentation through ERP (DHI) and cloud evidence systems
- Stakeholder engagement and institutional feedback systems
- Accreditation readiness support (NBA/NAAC) and quality reporting

7. IQAC Quality Framework (PDCA Approach)
IQAC activities are structured through a Plan–Do–Check–Audit (PDCA) approach:
- Plan: Quality calendars, benchmarks, action plans
- Do: Implementation through audits, workshops, reviews
- Check: Evidence verification, observations, monitoring
- Audit: Corrective actions and Action Taken Reports (ATR) with closure
8. Institutional Feedback Mechanism
IQAC coordinates a structured institutional feedback ecosystem to ensure stakeholder inputs translate into measurable quality improvements. Feedback is gathered systematically from key stakeholders and is closed through a documented Feedback → Analysis → Action Plan → ATR → Review process.

- Action Taken Reports (ATR) are compiled and reviewed periodically
- Improvements are monitored through quality review meetings and audits
